A brief description of each production file
Accounts Receivable The Accounts Receivable module allows you to track receivables
based on orders entered in the Orders module. In Accounts Receivable,
enter a payment received on an order, view a 30-60-90 day aging report,
and even send out late notices to those orders over 30 days due.
Customer
The customer database keeps track of basic customer information, such as
their address and contact names. With it you can quickly and easily
access customer information and print customer lists. The customer
database is connected to the order & invoicing file. when you fill
out orders, they are automatically assigned to a customer in the
customer file. A list of orders for a particular customer are displayed
on the customer information screen.
Customer Service
In the Customer Service file, a Customer Service record is created for
each customer that you enter in the Customer module. The Customer
Service file stores all customer service contacts with your customer
base. From it you can run daily and monthly tallys to determine the
various reasons customers call in; print mailing labels for all
literature requests at the end of a day; generate monthly Service Rep
tallies to determine which customer service reps are handling the
greatest volume; and quickly look up a customer's contact history.
Employee
The employee file stores such employee information as an employee's hire
date, social security number, and emergency contact. From the employee
file you can print internal phone lists, keep track of when your
employees are up for review, and look up the pay and pay grade history
of a particular employee.
Orders
Orders allows you to enter orders, print work orders, generate invoices,
and run sales reports. Orders is connected to Accounts Receivable,
Products, Customers, and Shipping.
Products
The products file stores production information such as price, cost,
description, and category. From the products file you can look up
detailed product information, print price lists, catalogs, and run sales
by product reports.
Shipping
The shipping file helps you schedule deliveries for orders that are
entered in the Orders file. With the shipping file you can print
delivery manifests for a particular date or date range, print shipping
labels, and print packing slips. ..
